It is very common for anyone working in the helping profession to encounter ethical dilemmas. Ethics are at the heart of competent and effective practice for anyone in the helping field. This webinar is designed to give individuals and organizations an opportunity to review common principles and standards for ethical practice that are relevant for their settings. Viewers will practice using an ethical decision-making process to work through common areas of ethical concerns and leave with a stronger awareness of their own ethical base.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this webinar participants should be able to
  • Name clues to FASD that can be seen in behaviours of the individual
  • Identify several of the primary characteristics of FASD
  • Describe the path to developing interventions to support those living with FASD

Target Audience

This is an introductory-intermediate level webinar intended for anyone interested in learning more about this topic.

Method of Delivery

Each webinar is 60 minutes in length. Live webinars will each contain 60 minutes of instruction from the facilitator using visual powerpoint slides and then there will be 5-10 minutes at the end of the webinar when participants can ask questions directly to the instructor and hear feedback from them in realtime. On-demand webinars include no interactivity with the instructor.

Completing Webinar

Upon viewing entire webinar you will need to take a post webinar test. A certificate will be given after successful completion of test. For those require ASWB and NBCC approved certificates a you will need to select that option. An evaluation form will be available to complete after submitting the posttest.
