Are you looking for support to be able to help the people you are working with? If so, we hope you will join other helpers, caregivers, and counsellors for 2.5 days of inspirational speakers, panels, and sessions. This conference is a unique opportunity to hear from several of the authors of CTRI’s book, Counselling Insights: Practical Strategies for Helping Others with Anxiety, Trauma, Grief, and More. Learning from others in roles similar to your own is a key way of finding inspiration and guidance.

On March 13th and 14th, the conference will run from 9AM-4:30PM each day. On March 15th, the conference will start at 9AM and end at 12:00PM

At the end of this conference, participants should be able to:
- Describe common counselling insights helpful in a helper role
- List a variety of strategies for helping with common mental health concerns
- Identify common themes across a variety of mental health concerns
- Plan steps for applying helping skills in their own work settings

Registrations cancelled seven or more days prior to the workshop are refundable, minus a $50.00 administrative fee. Alternatively, you may receive a credit to attend a future training. Cancellations less than seven days prior to the workshop are non-refundable. If at any time you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your registration to another individual at no extra cost. In this case, please notify CTRI of the name of the alternate person who will be attending.
We reserve the right to cancel workshops due to unforeseen circumstances or under-enrolment. Liability is limited to a refund of workshop fees only. Please make travel arrangements with this in mind.
Register Early! To better facilitate group interaction, seating is limited.
Children and unregistered guests are not permitted in the meeting rooms.
You Will Receive
A spiral bound training manual and workshop certificate, as well as morning and afternoon refreshments. Participants are on their own for lunch from noon until 1:00 p.m., unless otherwise stated. For live-stream participants, you will receive a pdf copy of the manual.

Continuing Education Credit
While many associations and licensing bodies accept CTRI workshops for continuing education credits, questions about approval should be directed to the specific association or licensing body for which you are requesting the credits. Credit hours: There are six continuing education credits earned for each day of training. For example, a one-day workshop earns six continuing education hours, while a two-day workshop earns 12 hours. A certificate will be awarded upon the completion of the workshop.
