Trainers and Consultants

Deanne has worked in the mental health and addiction services field for many years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Public Health. Deanne also has specialized training in substance use treatment, helping others deal with difficult life circumstances, emotional regulation, and skill development; case management; and stabilization in educational settings. In addition to being a CTRI trainer, she works at the Veterinary Hospital with the University of Saskatchewan, ensuring services for the community and Veterinary College. Deanne believes that with resiliency and support, every individual has the opportunity to thrive and achieve their life goals. As a facilitator, she uses humour, stories, group discussion, and engaging strategies to keep the training entertaining, challenging, educational, and memorable.
