Much of John’s career has centred on working with children, youth, adults and families dealing with crisis and trauma. John’s work is also informed by his international experiences working with individuals and communities impacted by civil war and ethnic conflicts in Colombia, Albania and Northern Ireland. He is a warm and engaging facilitator who values interactive learning experiences.
This webinar provides a framework for understanding a variety of addictive behaviours that may affect youth. These include substance use/abuse, gaming, gambling and pornography. While some youth are merely experimenting, for others, their use quenches a much larger unmet need and a pattern of use and abuse develops. This webinar is a companion to Addictions and Youth: Creating Opportunities for Change.
