Clinical Depression is commonly referred to as major depressive disorder or major depression, it is a more severe form of depression where the symptoms cause noticeable problems in personal relationships, as well as causing a disruption to day-to-day functioning. Symptoms persist over a sustained period of time and are not attributed to psychological effects or other medical conditions. Clinical depression can affect people of any age. Symptoms of clinical depression can improve with psychological counselling, medication, or a combination of both.
